Our Past

We have appeared in Whitehaven, Egremont, Workington, Maryport, Cockermouth, Keswick, Carlisle, Penrith and many of the villages in between. We have done everything from leading church services to singing in social clubs, and we have taken part in a number of charity events including the 1999 launch of 'Operation Christmas Child' at Whitehaven Civic Hall.

We have appeared at 'N-joy' the bimonthly youth event organised by NISCU (Northern Schools Interschools Christian Union). We have taken part in all three Maritime Festivals in Whitehaven, and in the 'On the Move' free barbecue event. We were involved in the West Cumbrian staging of the Rob Frost musical 'Hopes and Dreams', and we appeared as angels (!) in the St Bees millennium production 'The Bracelet of St Bega', a play written by organiser Jill Hudson.

We have acted as the impromptu support band for the London Community Gospel Choir - impromptu, because their coach broke down on the way to Penrith and we ended up doing a half hour slot to keep the audience entertained…
